HOW DDA WILL PREPARE THE STUDENTS ?

• Academic classes to qualify the test for admission in D.G. Shipping and IMU affiliated colleges and institutions.
• Spoken English and PD Classes and complete preparation of interview to qualify the test.
• Complete familiarization of Merchant Navy career path and opportunities.
• Complete training, preparation and guidance will be under supervision of Marine Experts.

(CCMC) Certificate Course in Maritime Catering

Educational qualification : Passing in 10th / 12th from any stream with a minimum of 40% marks from a recognized Board with English as one of the subjects. Entrants must have at least 40% marks in English either at 10th or 12th standard.

Age Limit : Between 17.5 years to 25 years before entry in training years at the time of commencement of course.

Medical Fitness : Should be physically fit for sea and should meet the medical standards laid by the Director General of Shipping.

Eye Sight / Vision : Use of corrective lenses for eyesight is permitted but the maximum permissible limits, at entry, are 6/6 in each eye. Color blindness is not permitted.

(GP Rating) General Purpose Rating

Educational qualification : 10th Standard pass from government recognized board with 40% aggregate. English 40% in 10th. OR

12th Standard (any steam) pass from government recognized board with 40% aggregate. English 40% at 10th or 12th but with subjects English, Mathematics & Science at 10th. OR Pass

Min 2 year ITI course (Fitter / Machinist / Mechanic / Welder / Turner) approved by DVET / NCVT; with minimum 40% aggregate marks in the final year of ITI & Minimum 40% in English in 10th / 12th.

Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 25 years at the time of commencement of the course.
