INDIAN ARMY AGNIVEERS RALLY RECRUITMENT 2023
AGNIVEER will be enrolled in the Indian Army under the Indian army Act 1950 for a period of four years. AGNIVEER would form a distinct rank in the Indian army, different from any other existing ranks. Indian army is not obliged to retain AGNIVEER beyond the engagement period of four years.
On completion of four years of service, based on the organization’s requirements and policies promulgated by the Indian army, AGNIVEER will be offered an opportunity to apply for permanent enrolment in the Indian Army. These applications will be considered in a centralized manner based on objective criteria including performances during their four-year engagement period and up to 25% of each specific batch of AGNIVEER will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Indian Army. AGNIVEER will not have any right to be selected for further enrolment into the Indian Army. Selection of the AGNIVEER for further enrolment, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Indian Army.
Agniveer Recruitment 2023-24 : For Recruiting Year 2023-24 the recruitment of Agniveers will be carried out in two phases :-
(a) Phase I – Online Computer-Based Written Examination (Online CEE)

INDIAN ARMY AGNIVEER SALARY
The applicants shortlisted for Agniveer in the Armed Forces will be offered with a financial package of Rs. 4.75 lacs for the 1st year which will be upgraded to approx. Rs. 6.92 lacs in the 4th year. Besides the annual package, the candidates will be offered with allowances like risk & hardship, ration, dress, and travel allowances.
Seva Nidhi: The Seva Nidhi package costs approximately Rs 11.71 lakh, including (Including, interest accumulated on the above amount as per the applicable interest rates would also be paid). 30% of monthly emoluments will be contributed by individuals and an equal amount will be contributed by the Government.
Death Compensation: Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs with additional Ex. Gratia of Rs. 44 lakh for death attributable to service. The unreserved portion up to 4 years including Seva Nidhi Component.
